Enjoy this dish for dinner or even a brunch! With bacon and tater tots, no body will complain if you bring this to a potluck anytime of day. Comfort food knows no time!
Tips for this recipe:
- Make your own bacon bits! This recipe calls for bacon bits and you can never have too many. Cook a package of bacon and throw however much you’d like into the casserole. We’re usually a little low on bacon by the time it makes it into the dish due to snacking.
- If you like your tater tots crispier, bake them per the package instructions before adding them to the casserole. While in the casserole, they soften and can get lost in the yummy gooey casserole.
